Potlatch
Native American Indians used to have the
practice of the Potlatch, where each family or
tribe would invite others to a great festival where
they gave food, clothing and gifts to their guests.
Each family would try to outdo the other to see who
could give more.
Hundreds of thousands of calendars and
informational kits have been given out internationally
since the World Thirteen Moon Calendar Change began
as a grassroots movement in 1992.
