Dear Colleagues working on behalf of Peace,

The drums of war are now beating louder than they have for several generations. We must all pause and wonder: We may well know when a war begins, but once begun, we never really know when or how it will end. And with a war of a magnitude as is now being planned with the kinds of weapons available, the prospects for world destruction are as great as they have ever been. This is truly a time for the unification of the efforts of all peace workers world wide. To unify ourselves now is our best chance to create a vision of lasting peace.

World peace has eluded us for so long only because we have been unable to isolate a fundamental root issue and unify ourselves on that point. Changing the calendar is precisely such a root issue. Many years ago Ghandi spoke out in favor of calendar change, realizing in it a great potential for the unification of humanity. We also believe that by collectively focusing on the calendar change we will give ourselves the opportunity to unify ourselves as a force for peaceful change such as the world has not known. By uprooting a fundamental dogma which has conditioned the human mind for so long, we will provide ourselves the opportunity for creating and implementing a lasting peace plan that the world needs now more than ever.Yes! The world needs new and fresh solutions to overcome the crumbling stalemate between terrorism and nuclear annihilation.

We know that you have seriously studied the situation of world peace, and that your deepest aspiration is to live in a genuine time of harmony. To have a time of harmony and peace, we must leave the time of disharmony and war. To change the calendar is to change the everyday thinking of the human race. As Albert Einstein said, "Since the advent of the nuclear age, everything has changed but the way people think; as a result we drift toward unparalleled catastrophe." The calendar change can accomplish this one simple change. Think about it.
