Quetzatl is known for performing LIVE hardsteppin' Drum & Bass,
his adventurous albums have been featured on College and Digital Radio
all over the U.S., Canada and the U.K. as well as in Independent Films.

Relying heavily upon improvisation and taking an avant-garde approach,
Quetzatl continues to push the envelope of live drum & bass and electronica
with fast-paced breakbeats, sophisticated rhythms, filtered pads and acidic bass.
In addition, he continues his long term project of documenting the audio waves of
the biosphere and field recordings from sacred sites and environments around the planet.

A good portion of his time is also spent delving into the cosmological belief structures
and hieroglyphs of ancient civilizations like the Maya, Egyptians, and Sumerians.
When he's not scribbling down the leg to arm ratio of a new Australopithecine finding,
he's whippin' 540 fakie big spins and sailing over shopping carts on his skateboard.

"Having vistited Cozumel, Chichen Itza and Tulum in my teens, I was open to
the vibration of "The Mayan Factor" when I first chanced upon it, and after a nueral workout came to the conclusion that the Mayan Cosmological viewpoint was not just something to wonder at, but something to apply to our present moment, each moment.

After helping to throw a Summer Solstice Jungle Ritual in the warm valleys of Tennessee during the Crystal Rabbit Moon in the year 1996, a friend and I heard the call to gather at the Four Corners Monument, for the Boundry Dissolving Ceremony.
Having zipped across the United States, upon arriving we set up camp along the
San Juan River. We awoke at dawn with the other kin to form two huge concentric circles around the monument. State boundries held no significant meaning for us.

I continued researching all the latest data in the fields of Archeaology, Astronomy, Linguistics, Genetics, Magnetics, Physics, things were continuing to cohese....
becoming more connected.

There was information that the citizens of Earth needed to be aware of.
Since many people do not have time or make time to read books,
another way was devised....
Distribute information through more a subtle means of artistic expression.

Here we are at the meeting of two worlds, the old and the new....
Coexisiting together for a short time during the transitional phase shift.
