Tribe Sector Nine is an accomplished
quintet of experimental sound vibration with the intent of making the
world a more peaceful place so we may all dance as one love. Their name
spawns from the Sacred 13 Baktun count. The 9th Baktun was when the
Classic Maya were at their peak of living in harmony with the natural
time and telepathic communications.
They are made up of:
David Phipps - keyboardist
Hunter Brown - guitar
Jeffrey Lerner - percussion
David Murphy - bass
and
Zach Velmer - drums
They have become well known through there very
ENERGETIC and INSPIRATIONAL Live performances where they have an amazing
visual light show and will have local artists and musicians share
the stage with them to create a macrobiotic environment of sound and
light, that have gotten people to break lose of all their worries
and have a good time. This is the best music for our current situation
in the world, to unite under one solid beat of love and peace and
for future generations to catch a groove too, truly ahead of their
time.
This tune is taken from a show in Pittsburgh
PA at Club Laga during the Autumn 2001 Yellow Solar Seed tour on 10
4 01 White Magnetic Wizard, which was only a few days after the country
was shaken by the attacks of 9 -11 the inevitable event, with their
close friend MC Scottie dropping the Time is Art lyrics pulsing deeply
thru every minute of flowing rhymes this new tune, "You're It!"
