The Continental Bioregional Congress
It was founded during the 1980s by social and environmental activists, poets, artists, and healers dedicated to the creation of a Charter for the Earth and all its inhabitants, including not only humans, but all the natural elements.. It has put together eight congresses in Canada and the U.S., one of them in coalition with the Vision Council of Mexico, the “First Bioregional Congress of the Americas” held in Mexico in 1996.
Vision Council: Guardians Of The Earth
This movement originated in Mexico in the beginning of the 1990s, to provide an annual space for the realization of bioregional gatherings, create an informal network among groups from all over the country, and facilitate a link with the alternative movements of North and South America. It has put together eight gatherings in different bioregions of the country, and it offers its wide experience to “Call of the Condor” in the preparation and realization of the event.
