Natural Time:
Natural time is a real aspect of existence that is readily observable to those who pay attention. It is found within the cycles of nature. The cycles of natural time continue to turn endlessly. All we have to do is to tune in to the cycles and flow with them. The natural cycles of time are:
The Day – The Earth revolves on its axis to create day and night.
The Moon – The moon revolves around the Earth through its cyclical phases. The average period of the moon is 28 days or 4 weeks.
The Year - The Earth revolves once around the Sun every 365 days. In the same period the moon revolves around the Earth 13 times (i.e. 13 x 28 =364) plus one extra day. Thus each year comprises 52 weeks, plus one extra day.
This extra day represents the “day out of time”. Just as every moon begins on the same day of the week, so does every year. The extra day in every year is quite literally a “day out of time” and is not counted in the weekly or “moonthly” cycle.
The brightest actual star in the sky, is the star Sirius. From the Earth’s perspective, the Sun appears to move across the sky against the background of stars. When the Sun rises with the brightest star, Sirius, it begins the cycle of the year. That day corresponds to July 26th on the current Gregorian calendar. Therefore, the start of the 13 Moon calendar is linked to a cosmic event.
Spiritual Time:
To find the spiritual aspects of time, we turn to the heavens. The brightest “star” in the sky is not a star, but the planet Venus. The cycle of the planet Venus is a 260 day cycle. The ancient Maya referred to the 260 day cycle as the Tzolkin or Sacred Calendar. According to them, it is made up of smaller cycles of 13 and 20 days each turning together to create a 260 day cycle. This is an ever repeating cycle.
These are the cycles that govern the physical aspects of life. Our bodies are also coded with the natural cycles of time. Men and women are cycling on a 28 day cycle known as the biorhythm. We have 13 joints in our bodies which provide us with movement and 20 fingers and toes. We are the embodiment of natural Sacred Time.
I Ching Hexagrams & The DNA Codon:
The I Ching encourages us to take an active role in the evolution of our own DNA. It utilises the power of the 7 days multiplied by the power of 13 weeks and multiplied again by 4 Quarters/Seasons to effect changes in ourselves on the cellular level. Each week we utilise one I Ching hexagram which corresponds to a DNA codon. The following week, one line of the hexagram changes. This continues for 13 weeks, moving the hexagram, the rune symbol and the DNA codon through all of their possible permutations. In other words, all the way to its opposite and back to its original form. This allows us to clear and reset our DNA to its original form, one codon at a time.
Like the genetic code is made up of 64 different "code-words" or combinations, The I Ching is made up of 64 different "hexagrams" or six-line structures. Each line is designated either a yin or yang.
"The ancient Chinese mind contemplates the cosmos in a way comparable to that of the modern physicist, who cannot deny that his model of the world is a decidedly psychophysical structure."
- Carl Jung, Forward to the I Ching, Wilhelm/Baynes edition, 1949
So in the same way the code letters are formed in the Western scientific model of the genetic code, in the Eastern model two lines form a code letter.
Two unbroken lines would form Adenine.
Two broken lines would form Thymine.
A broken line below an unbroken line would form Guanine.
An unbroken line below a broken line would form Cytosine.
Three of these code letters combine to form the 64 hexagrams or "code-words” or DNA Codons.
Elder Futhark Runes & The Seven Major Arcanum:
The Major Arcanum of the Law of Time refers to mysterious knowledge known only to the initiate, or one having the key. The Major Arcanum of the Law of Time, the Cosmology of Seven, underlies the mysterious text referred to by the Chilam Balam, or Jaguar Priests, as the Book of the Seven Generations.
1. The Throne – Dali – Crown (Days 1, 8 , 15 and 22)
2. The Avatar – Seli – Root (Days 2, 9, 16 and 23)
3. The Mystery – Gamma – 3rd Eye (Days 3, 10, 17 and 24)
4. The Initiation – Kali – Sacral Chakra (Days 4, 11, 18 and 25)
5. The Time Space – Alpha – Throat (Days 5, 12, 19 and 26)
6. The Transcendence – Limi – Solar Plexus (Days 6, 13, 20, and27)
7. The Cube – Silio – Heart (Days 7, 14, 21 and 28)
Daily Practice: For all 28 days of the four 7 day weeks of each 13 moons one Futhark Rune codes the days Dali-Limi, the Seventh Day (Of each week) represents the center and is a void day (Blank Rune). All that is necessary regarding the meaning of the Runes is to meditate on the simple daily affirmation.
4th Dimensional Time:
4th dimensional time comprises cycles of different lengths.
The smallest cycle is the day and next is the Harmonic, which consists of 4 days. The cycle of the Solar Seals includes a cycle of the four colours: red, white, blue and yellow repeated five times (20 days). The harmonic always begins on a red day and cycles through white and blue to the yellow day.
The next larger time cycle is the 7-day cycle of the week. The powers of the weeks are Week One: Knowledge Week Two: Humility Week Three: Patience Week Four: Power.
The Wavespell is a cycle of 13 Days. It is a basic unit of 4th Dimensional time. It carries the power of change. It is a the basic fractal of 4th dimensional mathematics. Recall that the year divides into 7-day weeks 52 times, which is 13 X 4.
The Wavespell is illustrated for you below.
Each space in the Wavespell maintains its energy for that particular period of time. If you have an important task, consider allocating 13 days to complete it, using the power of the 13-day Wavespell to establish the process. Similarly, consider following a natural 13-moon Wavespell for a task that would take a year. Each Wavespell carries a specific seal and colour essence for its cycle of 13. The first and last days of the Wavespell are the same color. So, the wavespells cycle through the colors red, white, blue and yellow, as well.
You can enter a day, a week, a moon, a year, 10 years, 100 years into a Wavespell and it works the same.
The Moon governs the basic physical aspect of the calendar. We are all coded with the natural 28 day cycle. Since there are 13 moons per year, the moons take on the aspects of the Galactic Tones (Above). This means for a full 28 days we experience the energy of each of the 13 tones. Answer the question of each moon by utilising the power and action of that particular galactic tone and you are flowing with natural time!
